Happy Spring Everyone! Lets hope we have some April Showers that will bring May flowers!
What a busy month is has been and what an AMAZING month we have ahead of us! First, let me say there are only 2 opportunities left to qualify for Miss Gay Arizona America 2015. I STRONGLY encourage any of you who are interested to try it out, throw your hat in the ring. What is the worst that can happen, you gain valuable experience and personal growth? This is a very elite title to hold and I know there are many of you out there that have the ability to wear the crown and be an amazing Miss Gay Arizona America. Don’t let fear hold you back, don’t let someone else saying you cannot do it or you are not good enough to hold you back. You and only you control your destiny and fulfilling in your dreams. Don’t let someone else self- doubt hold you back from achieving your greatness! I use to do that and now look where I am. Once I broke through my fear, my drag career took off, and it can happen to YOU! So, there are two chances left. On Sunday April 19th we are honoring Janee Star and holding Miss Queen of the Desert America. There is still time to compete so please see Daniel, TC, Judy or myself. There is also the last prelim of the season the following Sunday. On April 26 we will be honoring Masquerade at Miss Gay Cosmopolitan America. The Boom Boom boys would love to have you as a contestant so again, please see them, Daniel or myself. Don’t let either of these opportunities pass you pass, break through and achieve your greatness!
I would like to congratulate several of my fellow entertainers on achieving their success. It was an honor to serve as head judge and I look forward to not only seeing , but helping Trixie and Dee Jay have an amazing reign! Also Barbara Seville and Eddie Broadway congrats on a great year, you two did some amazing things and only helped to further elevate the titles of Mr. and Miss Phoenix Gay Pride. I went to challenge myself and experience something new. I was able to achieve that AND get my ticket to Miss Gay America 2016! I want to say thank you to everyone who was so warm, loving, and welcoming to me during my visit. I really appreciate it and didn’t once feel like a stranger or outsider. Congrats to my friend and sister Laquincha on an amazing year and I look forward to the road ahead, tea mo Hermana!. Eric and Tom, my new promoters, you guys are amazing! You two guys went above and beyond what I expected and I can’t wait to work with you both on the road to MGA. Alondra, my sister, I loved seeing you and look forward to being there for you at your stepdown of Miss Gay Maryland America. To everyone who gave me a shout out on Facebook or texted, thank you for your support and love as well. It was also really good to see Jessica, Sabrina, 2 of the judges and Terry and Coby who were celebrating one year together, thank you for letting us be part of that celebration, and Finally, I must say thank you, simply thank you, to not only an amazing entertainer, but to someone I look up to and admire, but most importantly someone who I am proud to call my friend, Blair Williams. You have no idea how much your friendship and kind words of encouragement mean to me. I love you!
